A matched pair of curly black walnut slabs, sawn one after the other from the same log, so the curl mirrors itself when you open them like a book. Slab 03 is 6 ft 8 in long and 14 to 27 in wide, slab 04 is 6 ft 11 in long and 17 to 27 in wide, both 1 1/2 in thick. Both flare out wide at the base with feathered curl figure in the heartwood. Slab 04 has a split running in from the wide end along the center line.

We air dry the set on the stack first, then finish it at a commercial kiln if you chose kiln dried. We start the day you order, email you a ready date, and you pick it up when it is done.
