A matched pair of black walnut slabs, sawn one after the other from the same log, so the grain mirrors itself when you open them like a book. Both are 7 ft 3 in long and 2 1/2 in thick, with dark chocolate heartwood down the center, wide cream sapwood along both edges, and bark on the edges. Slab 01 runs 17 to 21 in wide and slab 02 runs 16 to 24 in wide. Both have a knot with swirled grain near the top end.
