A wide, thick black walnut slab, 7 ft 5 in long and 2 1/2 in thick, running 20 in wide at the top end and 25 to 30 in through the body. Dark heartwood with a knot cluster and swirled grain on one edge about a third of the way up, cream sapwood along both edges, and bark on the edges.
