A matched pair of hackberry slabs, sawn one after the other from the same log, so the grain mirrors itself when you open them like a book. Each slab is 12 ft 9 in long and 1 1/2 in thick, with bark along both edges. Slab 03 runs 19 to 22 in wide and slab 04 runs 20 to 21 1/2 in. A dark pith line runs down the center of each slab with dark streaking and small checks along it, and slab 04 has a split starting at the bottom end along that line. It can be stabilized with bowtie keys or left as character.
