7 ft 4 in Tulip Poplar Live-Edge Slab, 17 to 24 in wide, 1 1/2 in thick (POP-26-03-04)

Tulip poplar slab 1 1/2 in thick (6/4), 17 in wide up top and 24 in at the butt, with dark heartwood, a run of knots down the middle and bark along one edge. The back is lighter, with a few small knots. End check at the butt.

What it builds: Shelves, a bench seat, or a wall-mounted desk. At 1 1/2 in it is lighter to handle than a full slab. Tulip poplar is stable, easy to work, and takes paint or stain well.

Air dried, $89 at $4.75 per board foot. It read 18% moisture on Sept 28, 2026 and is still air drying on the stack. Take it as is now, or we hold it until it reads 15% or under and you pick it up then.
