Rough-sawn white oak boards, cut on our mill in Wartrace, TN. Long boards for real projects: flooring, shelving, trim, furniture, barn and shop builds.

- Sizes in stock: 1 in x 12 in x 16 ft 8 in, 1 in x 10 in x 16 ft 8 in, 1 in x 10 in x 13 ft, 5/8 in x 10 in x 16 ft 8 in, and 1 in x 11 5/8 in x 13 ft (sawn at 12 in, already shrunk to 11 5/8 in, and still green at about 40% moisture)
- Priced by the board foot: thickness (in) x width (in) x length (ft) / 12. A 1 x 12 x 16 ft 8 in board is 16.67 board feet.
Two ways to buy
- Green, $5.00 per board foot ($5.75 for the 12 in wide boards, $4.00 for the 5/8 in board). Fresh off the mill and ready to load today. You sticker and dry it.
- Air dried, $9.00 per board foot ($10.25 for the 12 in wide boards, $7.25 for the 5/8 in board). We sticker and air dry your boards under cover and hold them for you. Plan on 6 to 12 months for 1 inch white oak. We will let you know when they are ready for pickup.
Sizes are measured green. Oak shrinks as it dries, so a 1 inch green board finishes a little under an inch and a 10 inch board loses about 3/4 inch of width.
About the photos: they show the grain and character typical of our white oak, not one exact board. Every board is a little different. Rough-sawn boards have saw marks, some knots, and the occasional check, so come look before you load if you want to pick your boards.
Pickup and shipping: Free local pickup by appointment in Wartrace, TN. Shipping at the buyer expense, usually by freight.
