7 ft 4 in Tulip Poplar Live-Edge Slab, 17 to 19 in wide, 2 1/2 in thick (POP-26-03-06)

Tulip poplar slab 17 in wide at the top and through the middle, 19 in at the butt, with dark knots and heartwood streaks down the face and bark along the edges. The back is lighter and cleaner, with a few small knots.

What it builds: A bench, a mantel, or a console top. Tulip poplar is light, stable and easy to work, and it takes paint or stain well.

Air dried, $144 at $5.25 per board foot. It read 18% moisture on Sept 28, 2026 and is still air drying on the stack. Take it as is now, or we hold it until it reads 15% or under and you pick it up then.
