16 ft 8 in White Oak Book-Matched Live-Edge Slab Set, 23 to 26 in wide, 2 1/4 in thick (WHO-26-02-01 and 02)

A matched pair of white oak live-edge slabs, sawn one after the other from the same log, so the grain and figure mirror each other when you open them like a book. Sixteen feet eight inches long, 2 1/4 in thick, with bark on both edges, heavy ray fleck, and burl figure near the center. Made for a long dining table, a conference top, or a bar.

• Width: measured live edge to live edge, bark on, at both ends. The numbers penciled on the slabs in the photos (21 1/2 in, and 24 1/2 in on slab 2) were taken sapwood to sapwood.

• Moisture: 45%, fresh off the mill (measured Sept 25, 2026)

What it builds: Glued edge to edge, a dining or conference table about 4 ft wide and 16 ft long that seats 14 to 16. Or a matched pair of 16 ft bar tops.

Three ways to buy this set

• Wet today, $2,182 at $14.25 per board foot. Load it and go, you do the drying.
• Reserve it, $1,275 deposit. We dry it, you pay the balance at pickup. Air dried $2,718, kiln dried $3,637.
• Kiln dried, $3,637 at $23.75 per board foot, dried to 6 to 9% and ready when the kiln run is done.

Both slabs sell together as one set. Thick white oak dries slowly and has to be done right, which is why we air dry it first and finish it in the kiln. One set, one of a kind. Whichever option sells first takes it off the shelf.
